For me it was important to have a professional training plan that fits into my lifestyle. I also enjoy sport besides cycling and it was important for me to incorporate that into my training to have some variety.

I would describe the coaching process as quite personal and open regarding communication. Training is based on  numbers, but also the feelings on the bike matters.

This was by far my best season and I even won a world cup. My goal this year was performing consistently - and I achieved that.

We started working together because I wanted to develop as an athlete, and find a better way to train to achieve my goals for this season and in the future.

We'd known each other for a while, so starting to work together and developing my training in a more structured way felt very natural. I really enjoy the individual way, but also the fact that we look at the bigger picture of training. Sometimes even a simple conversation can change my mindset and help me approach the next day or training session in a completely different way.

I'm very happy with our collaboration - I feel more confident during training and can see I'm making progress.

I wanted to become as good as possible with the time I have available. So it was important to use the time correctly and get personally tailored training.

The training program has been really good. I always get qualified and often scientifically supported answers to my questions. And if Jacob doesn't know, he looks into it.

In the beginning, I made a lot of progress, and subsequently, we have tweaked smaller things and adapted the training to my specific goals and race types.

I have been very satisfied with the results and the fitness level I have achieved, considering the somewhat limited time I have compared to many of my competitors.

Janni Spangsberg, Denmark | Age-group Gravel Rider, 2x Silver medal Gravel World Championships, Winner of several Gravel World Series.
